Meet us at Independent Hotel Show 2026 Amsterdam

Let's talk about how to get more direct bookings

As a hotelier, you know exactly what your property has to offer. It's your vision, your story, your way of hospitality. Whether you run a boutique hotel, a resort, or operate within a group, you understand your guests better than anyone. But do you know how to attract your guests online?

Most people rely on Booking.com. It's the fastest route to filled rooms, and it works. At least on the short term. Because travellers don't actually enjoy the OTA experience. It's cluttered, aggressive, impersonal, and designed to serve the platform rather than your hotel. It does nothing for your guest loyalty. Your guests will book through Booking.com, and you pay that commission again and again. Paying almost 20% of your revenue, every single time!

That's a liability. We want hotels to be independent from OTA's.

At Becurious, we build websites for boutique hotels, resorts, and hotel groups. Everything we create is custom-made. If you have your own design vision, our team will bring it to life exactly the way you imagine it. But If you're not quite sure what you want yet, you can sit down with our designers and work it out together. We listen and create with you, from first sketch to final pixel.

Oh, you want to go live very quickly with a smart booking framework? That's where Porter comes in. There we offer professionally designed website templates that we tailor to your hotel's branding, imagery, and identity. You get speed and quality.

Either way, the goal is always the same: a website that looks good, and also converts visitors into direct bookers.

On 22 and 23 April, we'll be at the Independent Hotel Show in Amsterdam. To answer your questions about where you're running into friction. And about new possibilities you might not have explored yet.

In our conversations with hoteliers, we hear the same questions come up: how do I reduce my dependency on OTAs? And how do I make the booking process so seamless that guests don't drop off halfway through?

We take those questions seriously. Which is also why we want to show you something we've been working on for the past few months.

We'd love to see you at the show

Want complimentary tickets, to schedule a meeting, or simply talk through your digital strategy? We'd be happy to hear from you.
